Melanie Minter
Melanie has practised in Clinical Negligence law since 1990 and is head of the firm's Clinical Negligence Team and its Catastrophic Injury Unit. The team achieved Band 1 status in Chambers in 2009, achieving praise for the quality of advice given to clients, whilst Melanie gains recognition for 'getting right to the heart of the matter'. Melanie has conducted all types of clinical negligence claims from low value to multimillion pound claims. Melanie is a member of the Solicitors Regulation Authority Clinical Negligence Panel and the AvMA Referral Panel and is also a qualified nurse.

John Lingwood
John is a member of the firm’s Clinical Negligence and Personal Injury Team and has a wealth of experience in dealing with both high value and clinical negligence claims. Based at the Brighton Office, John is a member of the Solicitors Regulation Authority's Personal Injury Accreditation Scheme and is an accredited Litigator of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers. As well as pursuing claims for damages John also acts as a Court of Protection appointed Deputy for brain injured patients.

Robert Bell
Robert joined the firm in 2004 having previously worked in a leading London clinical negligence firm. He has specialised in clinical negligence work since qualification in 2001. Robert has experience of cases relating to most areas of medical practice. He has pursued claims against private doctors and institutions as well as against NHS Trusts. Robert is regularly instructed to represent bereaved families at Inquests. He is also a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL).

Nick Garrish
Nick joined the firm in January 2009. He has specialised in clinical negligence since 1995 and has considerable experience dealing with claims across a broad spectrum of both value and clinical speciality. Most recently he worked in private practice in London undertaking claimant clinical negligence work. Prior to that he spent a number of years working at the NHS Litigation Authority, both in a claims handling and management role, having previously worked as a claims handler at the Medical Defence Union, and is therefore able to provide a unique and beneficial insight into the management of claims against both the NHS and private practitioners.

Caroline Godfrey
Caroline qualified as a Solicitor in the Clinical Negligence and Personal Injury Department in March 2009 having completed her training contract with the firm. Caroline has a broad caseload covering a variety of claims, including those arising from misdiagnoses and negligent surgery. In addition to looking after her own clients, Caroline assists the wider members of the team with high value clinical negligence claims arising from catastrophic injuries. Caroline is also a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers.

Andrea Roberts
Andrea joined the firm in 1997 and works within the Clinical Negligence team as an experienced Paralegal, assisting all the fee earners in a wide range of matters. She has worked in the legal profession for 18 years, both in Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence areas of work.
